Privacy Policy

Snug is a cozy home for two people to share. We built it to be private by
design — there is no account to create, no email or password, no
tracking, and no ads. This policy explains the little bit of data Snug
does handle so two phones can share one home.
The short version
Everything you make lives on your device and, if you
pair with a partner, in your shared home in the cloud. We never sell your data,
never show ads, and you can delete everything at any time from inside the app.
What Snug stores
- An anonymous identifier. When you pair with a partner, Snug
creates an anonymous sign-in ID so the two phones can find each other. It is not
linked to your name, email, phone number, or Apple ID.
- The names you type. Your name and your partner's name, used
only to personalize your home.
- The content you create together. Your pet, plant, and room
decor; notes and hand-drawn doodles; diary answers; moods; special dates; and any
photo you place in the frame. This is shared only between you and your paired
partner.
Snug does not collect your email, phone number, contacts,
location, or any advertising identifiers.
Who it's shared with
- Your partner. If you pair, the content above syncs to your
shared home so both of you see it.
- Firebase (Google) provides the anonymous sign-in and the
cloud database that stores your shared home. See Google's

- RevenueCat processes subscription receipts if you buy Snug
Plus. It receives only the purchase transaction — no personal content. See
RevenueCat's privacy policy.
We never sell your data and never share it for advertising.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data is kept while your home is active. You are always in control:
- Open Snug → About us → Settings → "Delete everything." This
permanently erases your anonymous account, your shared cloud home, and all data on
your device.
- Or email us at hello@snugapp.app and we
will delete it for you.
Children
Snug is made for couples and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly
collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will revise the date at the top. Meaningful changes
will be noted in the app.
